PROGRAMS
Neighborhood Stabilization. There's nothing more important to our residents than their safety. As we work to stabilize our community through supporting block clubs improving vacant lots, assisting residents with target hardening tips and tools to avoid becoming a victim of crime, we help improve safety. We look forward to renovating houses beginning in 2019 to help eliminate vacant, blighted structures to catapult our stabilization efforts.
Engaging Youth. Our LOVE (Lending Our Voices for Engagement) Campaign works to foster a positive perception of youth in our community; connecting through relationships, communication, teamwork, and respect.
Senior Security Initiative. The Senior Security Initiative endeavors to provide invaluable information regarding tax exemptions, conduct target hardening assessments, and provide assistance with addressing property maintenance issues. We also assist in maintaining the mental and physical stability of our seniors through creative arts.
Workforce Development. We recognize the importance of providing job training skills and creating jobs throughout the community for our residents. It is one way to ensure our residents have the resources and support to have the capacity to remain within our community.
Community Engagement. Our community is strongest when our residents are engaged in maintaining and improving it. We encourage all of our residents to take part in our community asset questionnaire to share their perspective of the neighborhood. It will also serve as the starting point for developing a shared vision and strategies for change within the area.
